Herman Bread Machine Bread

Mum came up for a visit and brought her Herman with her for a little holiday.
So I decided to eat it.
Since I'm not really big on cake thought I'd try making bread with it, and since I'm lazy I wanted to make it in my bread machine. I adapted a few likely-looking sourdough recipes and turned out a very nice loaf, with a good texture and density, if just a little bit too sweet. Hermans feed on sugar, amongst other things, so they're perfectly suited for cake but not so much for bread.

Ingredients
Method
Put the Herman and liquid ingredients into the bread pan.
Add the flour on top and the salt in a little pocket on top of that (now you can leave the machine on timer without the salt killing the Herman).
Cook using the French program for a 1kg loaf.
Nice but sweet.
